HOUSE I

A RESIDENTIAL IN TEL AVIV, ISRAEL
2015

IN ASSOCIATION WITH AVISHAG GORDIN - THE ARCHITECTS.

A RECTANGLE AND LINEAR APARTMENT IN TEL AVIV WAS DESIGNED TO EMPHASIS IT'S PROPORTIONS RATHER THAN CONTRADICT THEM.

THE KITCHEN WAS DESIGNED AS A LONG FREE STANDING ISLAND, REACHING TOWARDS THE DINING AND LIVING AREA, ENDING IN A SITTING AREA FACING THE ENTERACNE TO THE APARTMENT.

A PLAYROOM IS LOCATED NEAR THE ENTERANCE , WITH A LONG WALK THROUGH CAREFULLY DESIGNED CLOSET DEFINING THE SPACE BETWEEN THE ROOM AND THE DINNING AREA, WHILE TOWARDS THE KITCHEN, A GLASS PARTITION OPENS THE SPACE UP AND ALLOWS VIEWS WHILE THE CHILDREN PLAY.

VERTICL AND HORIZONTAL LINES PLAY A SIGNIFICANT ROLE IN THE DESIGN ELEMENTS THROUGHOUT THE SPACE, SUCH AS IN THE LIGHTING FIXTURES AND FURNITURE DESIGN.
